AIPAC said in an email to conference attendees, participants, speakers, administration and Capitol Hill officials who attended the D.C.-based conference that although there is no reason to sound the alarm, it was writing to make everyone aware that the potentially exposed group has been added to the self-quarantine list.

More than 18,000 people from all 50 states, over 275 synagogue delegations, thousands of students from 630 campuses, and more than two-thirds of the members of Congress attended the conference, according to AIPAC. Despite this, U.S. lawmakers were told in a separate letter obtained by Fox News, sent to them from the House Administration Committee Wednesday that the Office of Attending Physician at the Capitol has advised that being at the conference only constituted as an indirect exposure to coronavirus.

Vice President Mike Pence along with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif. all attended the conference. Nearly two dozen Democrats in Congress also attended including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and former 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J.

The Princess Grand cruise ship headed from Hawaii toward San Francisco contains 21 people who are showing possible symptoms of the novel coronavirus, according to California Gov. Gavin Newsom. “The ship will not come onshore until we properly assess passengers,” Newsom told reporters at a press conference. Newsom declared a state of emergency in California on Wednesday. The Princess Grand embarked on a 15-night cruise from San Francisco to Hawaii on Feb. 21. It is currently at sea with plans to skip the last port of Ensenada tomorrow and return to San Francisco, ahead of its scheduled arrival on March 7. Newsom said the ship will be held offshore until testing kits can be flown to the vessel. Of the 21 with possible coronavirus symptoms, 11 were passengers and 10 crew members.
